Early work on 3/20 for Waluga Reservoir roof pour

Special Construction Update: Waluga Reservoir 1 Roof Replacement

Due to rainy weather and issues with concrete availability, this week's planned concrete pours have been postponed. Weather permitting, crews plan to pour the third quadrant for the roof on Monday, March 20.

To accommodate concrete availability, the City Manager has approved work to begin an hour earlier - the pumper truck will arrive at 6 a.m., with the pour beginning at 6:30 a.m. This will help crews to complete the roof replacement this spring.

Crews aim to pour the final quadrant in the next week, weather permitting.

Neighbors, thank you for your patience with these final pours. Please expect an increase in truck traffic and noise during work hours. Please watch for flaggers on Carman Drive, and expect some minor delays during pours.

Generally, work hours are Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. - 6 p.m., with some Saturdays, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
