Saturday work at the WR1 site

Special Construction Update: Waluga Reservoir 1 Roof Replacement

Unfortunately, due to recent rainy weather and concrete availability, this week’s final concrete pours have been rescheduled. Tomorrow, Saturday March 11, crews will be pouring the third quadrant for the roof.

To accommodate the Saturday pour, the City Manager has approved work to begin an hour earlier - the pumper truck will arrive at 7 a.m., with the pour beginning at 7:30 a.m. Crews expect to work until 4 p.m. This Saturday work will help crews remain on schedule to complete the roof replacement this spring.

Crews aim to pour the final quadrant mid-next week, weather permitting.

Neighbors, thank you for your patience with these final pours. Please expect an increase in truck traffic and noise during work hours. Please watch for flaggers on Carman Drive, and expect some minor delays during pours.

Generally, work hours are Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. - 6 p.m., with some Saturdays, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
