Citizen commission approves construction of new reservoir and pipeline extension in Lake Oswego

A citizen commission has approved an application for the Lake Oswego-Tigard Water Partnership to build a 3.5-million gallon water reservoir and extend the water pipeline to it through East Waluga Park.

The project will be spread among three parcels of land totaling about 24 acres, each containing a portion of a resource conservation district with second-growth Douglas firs and large-leaf maples. It will also require the removal of 177 trees, city staff said.
